Texas · Service Overview

A four-stage program — from permit to licensed Class C driver.

Each stage is managed end-to-end. Appointments and payments handled on your behalf with our partner driving school and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

STAGE 01

Eligibility & Permit

Documented eligibility review. Online learner permit guidance. Enrollment in the required 6-hour Adult Driver Education course and Impact Texas Driver video.

STAGE 02

Permit Appointment

First appointment with our partner driving school is scheduled and paid on your behalf. Confirmation sent in writing before the visit.

STAGE 03

Road Test (Vehicle Provided)

Road test scheduled within 24–48 hours of the permit appointment. A vehicle is provided by the driving school — removing the most common barrier for first-time applicants.

STAGE 04

DPS Restriction Removal

Earliest available DPS appointment is booked to finalize your license and remove restrictions, typically within 48 hours of passing your road test.

Louisiana · Service Overview

Two ways to get on the road — the permit, or the full license.

Managed with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) and OMV-licensed third-party driver education and testing providers listed at expresslane.org.

STAGE 01

Eligibility & Pre-Licensing Course

Documented eligibility review, then enrollment in an OMV-approved pre-licensing course: 6 hours pre-licensing classroom + 8 hours behind-the-wheel (the shorter of the two state-approved options for first-time adults).

STAGE 02

Learner's Permit

Coordination for the OMV permit stage: vision test and knowledge test (80% to pass). Study guides sourced from expresslane.org.

STAGE 03

Behind-the-Wheel & Road Skills

The required 8 hours behind-the-wheel and the road skills test, administered by an OMV-licensed third-party provider. Vehicle must be licensed, inspected, and insured — we help arrange it.

STAGE 04

Full Class E License

Final OMV issuance of the standard Class E license once all tests are passed. State license fee $32.25 (under 70).

Frequently Asked

Questions from prospective clients.

Which states do you coordinate for?
Texas and Louisiana. Choose your state at the top of the page — the requirements, stages, and pricing shown will match that state.
Are you affiliated with the DPS or the OMV?
No. We are an independent, privately owned coordination service with no affiliation to any government agency. We work within the standard state appointment systems on our clients' behalf.
Are you a licensed driving school?
No. Driver education and road testing are provided by independently licensed third-party providers. Our role is coordination — scheduling, paperwork, eligibility review, and payments handled on your behalf.
In either state, can I stop after Tier 1?
Yes. Tier 1 covers the coursework and the permit / learner license stage. You can stop there, or continue to Tier 2 for the road test and full license. Each state's road test and behind-the-wheel requirements are part of Tier 2.
Why is pre-qualification required?
Pre-qualification confirms you meet your state's requirements before enrolling — preventing wasted time and money for applicants with disqualifying circumstances such as suspensions, holds, or warrants.
What is the refund policy?
A full refund less a $97 administrative fee is available if cancellation occurs before service begins. After service begins, no refund is issued for payments already made, as third-party fees are non-recoverable. Failed road tests are not refundable; re-test scheduling is available for an additional fee.
